Dental models
1. Dental Model from Lakeshore Learning ($34.99) (First picture below)
http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/ (Search for "Learn to brush demonstration kit" or "dental model.")
2. Amazon.com
Search for "dental model." The dental models that Amazon carries change frequently, and prices vary. Be sure to look for one that's open in the back so you can put your hand through to act as a "tongue."
3. Jumbo Mighty Mouth Hand Puppet (with tongue) ($39.95) (Second picture below)
http://www.superduperinc.com/M-N_Pages/mouth32.htm
The tongue on this one is actually a little too stiff to demonstrate sounds easily. The first two dental models are easier to use.

9. Homemade Listening Tubes
Using PVC pipe: You can make listening tubes yourself from PVC pipe. Get the fittings you need at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. and assemble them easily. You can glue the pieces together, but they usually stay together well enough without glue. Be careful not to make the middle (straight) section too long, or the phone will be too long to fit between the ear and mouth. (Cut it to about 4 inches.)
Using paper and tape: You can also make listening tubes by cutting and folding paper. Print the pattern at the bottom of this page on card stock or other heavy paper. Cut it out and fold and tape according to the instructions on the pattern. It won't be very strong or long lasting, but it's very, very cheap.
